Visual Technology

Visual technology is a process by which a digital image is transferred onto a flat rigid surface, like a table top, or onto fabric or vinyl in chairs or other contract restaurant furniture & seating.

The customised furniture can use logos, trademarks, advertisements, menus, pictures and reproductions - the list is endless.

We can supply stock images as shown or we can provide you a design at a very reasonable one off cost. The furniture then becomes very special, creating an environment different from competitors. An atmosphere which is tasteful, memorable and unique.

Images: Technical Specifications

Digital images for transfer have to be in A4 format (297 x 210 mm), and have a resolution of at least 300 dpi.

Surfaces: Technical Specifications

Surfaces in Polimerit (a rigid polymeric surface) can be moulded to create every flat of slightly curved shape. The maximum area obtainable is 230 x 110cm. Acute angles cannot be obtained, an internal angle must measure at least 35 degrees. It is possible to make various kinds of edge and on Polimerit, it is possible to make engravings that add to the surface words and/or engraved motifs.
